The purpose and mission of JasD’Jor will be accomplished in the following ways:
The Wilson Sisters Education and Training Academy: With the establishment of the Wilson Sisters Education and Training Academy to honor the lives of Amelia, Kathlena, Ruby and Carolyn, JasD'Jor: Emerging Philanthropists will nurture the gifts of young people between the ages of 6 to 18, and train them in the ethic of philanthropic giving. Young people will be trained in how to raise funds for worthy causes, event planning, contract negotiation, basic accounting, reporting to boards, decision making on dispensing grant funds and much more. Trainers and teachers will be volunteers from the world of philanthropy, business, law, accounting, event planning, marketing, etc.
Peppermint Promises: A portion of all monies raised by JasD'Jor: Emerging Philanthropists will go to providing direct grants to children (the siblings) and community members affected by a loved one’s health condition to fund fun-filled cultural events and other activities and trips that will provide an opportunity to set aside the heavy burden of thinking of and coping with their loved one’s illness.
